Chanel has formally trained as an Access Coordinator by Bridge06 and supported by Screen Australia and Screenwest.
Chanel works closely with cast, crew and creatives to deliver practical accessible strategies from her extensive film work, training, lived-experience as a disabled woman and advocate and kind, considered approach to inclusion on film sets.
Additionally, between 2021 and 2023, Chanel undertook research and development into best practice access and inclusion on film sets across Australia compared with international standards this was funded by Screenwest and auspiced by Bus Stop Films.
Since training in 2023, Chanel has worked across scripted and documentaries to support disabled, deaf and neurodivergent (DDN) crew, cast and creatives through production.
